The citizenship by investment in Grenada has seen a surge in popularity in recent years. The Grenadian passport is highly prized for its visa-free access to over 140 countries, including major destinations like the United Kingdom, Russia, the Schengen Area, China, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

This Caribbean nation’s Citizenship by Investment program has witnessed a remarkable 400% increase in applications during the third quarter of 2022 compared to the previous five-year average. This surge coincides with the global lifting of COVID-19 restrictions.

THE MOST AFFORDABLE CBI PROGRAM IN THE WORLD

There are a number of reasons why a second citizenship and passport from Grenada is so popular. Furthermore, obtaining Grenada citizenship provides a strategic pathway to securing an E2 visa for the United States. As a treaty country with the U.S., Grenada offers investors a unique advantage in acquiring the E2 nonimmigrant visa, which allows individuals to enter and work in the United States based on a substantial investment in a U.S. business. With Grenada’s citizenship, entrepreneurs can more easily navigate the E2 visa application process, leveraging the country’s treaty status to pursue business opportunities and investment ventures in the United States.

HOW DO I GET CITIZENSHIP IN GRENADA? 

The Grenada CBI Program offers a comprehensive pathway to obtaining citizenship for applicants and their families through two primary investment routes. Prospective citizens can choose between a donation to the National Transformation Fund or a direct real estate investment in approved Grenadian projects.

The program is notably inclusive, with no language requirements, no restrictions on country of origin, and no educational or work experience prerequisites. Family members eligible for inclusion include a spouse, children under 30, parents, grandparents, and single siblings over 18 without children.

Upon successful application, citizenship is granted for life to the applicant, their immediate family, and future generations. Grenada uniquely allows dual citizenship and imposes no residency requirements, enabling citizens to live anywhere in the CARICOM region or globally while retaining their new citizenship status.

The citizenship provides significant international mobility benefits, including visa-free access to numerous countries and the flexibility to establish a global presence without geographical constraints.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET GRENADA CITIZENSHIP?

In the past processing times have been relatively quick, around 4 to 8 months, but with the massive increase in demand this may slow a little. 

HOW MUCH DOES THE GRENADA CBI PROGRAM COST?

There are currently 3 investment possibilities: a Donation Option, a Direct Purchase Real Estate Option, and a Share Investment Real Estate Option.  

DONATION OPTION IN GRENADA

The Donation Option requires a minimum contribution of USD 235,000 for families up to 4 (excl.); and USD 25,000 for each additional dependent (excl.).
*USD 50,000 for each parent/grandparent aged under 55 years old
*USD 75,000 for each qualified sibling

REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT IN GRENADA

Real Estate Investment In Grenada Silversand

The Direct Purchase Real Estate Option requires you to acquire approved real estate with a minimum value of USD 350,000 and hold it for at least 5 years. 


The Share Investment Real Estate Option requires you to purchase a share in an authorized real estate project with a minimum value of USD 270,000 and hold it for at least 5 years. 

ARE THERE GOVERNMENT PRE APPROVED REAL ESTATE PROJECTS?

There are Government preapproved real estate projects available. It should be noted that the Direct Purchase Real Estate and Share Investment Real Estate options are investments and should eventually return money to the applicant.
