- Applicants must make a payment to the Vanuatu Government.
- Be over 18 years old.

The Donation Option
Due Diligence Clearance
- The applicant must make an initial non-refundable payment of USD 7,000 for due diligence checks by the Government Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) to obtain Due Diligence Clearance.
- Once Due Diligence Clearance is granted the applicant can contribute and submit the full application for citizenship.
Contribution
The Applicant must make a one-off non-refundable donation to the Vanuatu Government as follows:
- USD 130,000 for a single applicant.
- USD 150,000 for a married couple.
- USD 165,000 for a married couple and 1 child.
- USD 180,000 for a married couple and 2 children.
- USD 25,000 for each additional dependent.
Approval
Once the contribution has been made and the application has been submitted, the Citizenship Commission will issue a final Approval. The Applicant can then attend a local or online ceremony to take their Oath as a Vanuatu citizen.

On average, the process may take 2-3 months from submission to passport handover. However, processing time may vary depending of the complexity of the case.

The processing and due diligence fees of the Vanuatu DSP must be paid prior to submitting the application.
When should I make the investment?
Applicants of the Vanuatu DSP can make their investment once they receive their Due Diligence Clearance, granted by FIU.
Do I need to travel or reside in Vanuatu as part of the citizenship application process?
Successful applicants of the Vanuatu DSP program will need to visit Vanuatu to attend a ceremony to swear an Oath. However, an online ceremony may be available with a Passport Officer and a local Notary Public present.
