A Hong Kong family secured Vanuatu citizenship in 3 months to expand their children's education and travel opportunities
Client Profile
The client was looking for a second passport for their family, especially their children, to provide a wider range of mobility options in the future, including potential relocation, better schooling, and travel opportunities. Their primary purpose was to secure better education options for their children as they enter schooling age.
Obstacles & Complications
Time-Sensitive Application
The client had a time-sensitive request and needed to receive the passport within a specific timeline. To address this, we were in constant communication with the local team in Vanuatu for updates. Additionally, we took it upon ourselves to handle the necessary translation and certification of the supporting documents to expedite the process. This proactive approach saved our client time and ensured that we met the deadline with a successful outcome.
Had They Tried Other Advisors?
The client did not make a representation that would have suggested they tried other advisors first.
Our Approach
After careful analysis, we determined in consultation with the client that the CIIP option was the most suitable choice for their needs. Vanuatu island citizenship is currently one of the fastest Citizenship by Investment (CBI) programs, with a processing time of approximately three months from submission to completion. Given that this is a family application, the CIIP investment option is more cost-effective than the DSP donation option. The client can redeem the USD 50,000 investment after 5 years without sacrificing any other benefits of Vanuatu citizenship.
What Made Our Approach Different
In this case, just as it is our usual practice, we recognized that every client is unique, with individual objectives, circumstances, risk profiles, and operational realities. Rather than applying standardized, off-the-shelf solutions, we remained dedicated to providing truly personalized services to this client. By taking the time to thoroughly understand their specific needs and context, we crafted customized strategies and recommendations that were precisely aligned with the client's situation, delivering more relevant, effective, and impactful outcomes than a generic "one-size-fits-all" approach ever could.
