Mehras Nissar is an Indian-qualified lawyer admitted to the Bar Council of India. She earned her Bachelor of Laws (B.A., LL.B.) in 2021 with distinction from the University of Kashmir, receiving a Gold Medal and Certificate of Merit for academic excellence. She later completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in 2022 at the University of Hong Kong as a recipient of the Wong Family Scholarship. Additionally, Mehras is published for her scholarly work in legal journals.
Her practice centers on U.S. employment-based immigration law, particularly EB-2 National Interest Waiver (NIW) petitions. She is responsible for reviewing and processing complex petition materials, advising and coordinating with clients, and preparing well-researched responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs).
